Support for Windows is coming! In the meantime use WSL as a work-around

WSL (Windows subsystem for Linux)

WSL allows Windows users to run Linux shells.

Step 1: Install WSL

Click here to install it: Install WSL
Enable the Windows Subsystem for Linux PowerShell

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem- Linux /all /norestart

Enable the PowerShell VM

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /all /norestart

Step 2 - Update the package

Download the WSL2 package

Configure the system

Once you run the WSL Ubuntu will be able to access directory on your C drive. Access windows local drive:

/mnt/c/dev/myproj

Configure system with python and java:

sudo apt update && upgrade

sudo apt install python3 python3-pip ipython3

sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jdk
